My name is Denny Stehr . I have been a lifelong car enthusiast and spent my entire life in the auto arena. Grew up on a farm near Lake City, MN, served some time in the Army and after being honorably discharged, I began work with Champion Auto Stores Corporate Division in Minneapolis. After three years I was able to purchase my own Franchise store and purchase four additional stores over my time with them. After selling my Franchise auto parts stores in 2006, I was associated with the appraisal group International Vehicle Appraisers Network (I-Van) as a certified appraiser. In 2019, I chose to go independent as the death of I-Van CEO Jeff Locke made for some unwelcome changes. I am very familiar with all aspects of the motor vehicle, including drivetrains and engines. Former Senior Master Judge with the Antique Automobile Club of America (AACA) and have many contacts on things that might be very unique.
While I consider myself an extremely knowledgeable individual on muscle cars and Corvettes, my knowledge and experience extends to all types of vehicles, including muscle cars, classics, street rods, restomods, semis, trailers and tractors. My appraisals have included vehicles such as the average street driven machine to mid six figure classics. Parts and collectables are also within my expertise. Lifelong experience in retail automotive parts stores gives me very good knowledge on costs of restomods and customs. My appraisals are very detailed, include photos, and should not be confused with any independent, handwritten appraisals as supplied by many appraisers out there. I do not buy or sell cars for a living so "conflict of interest" does not exist. They are well researched and will hold up should the need arise. Email me @ Dennystehr@gmail.com.
